Welcome to MedReview. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the MedReview website, platform, review services, mentorship-related services, and other features made available through MedReview.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, submitting content to, or using MedReview, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

1. About MedReview

MedReview is an experience-sharing and information platform designed primarily for NEET-PG and INI-CET aspirants, current postgraduate residents, alumni, and doctors.

The platform allows current residents and alumni to share their first-hand experiences regarding postgraduate colleges and departments. These experiences may relate to academics, clinical exposure, workload, work culture, patient load, faculty interaction, hostel facilities, hands-on opportunities, infrastructure, and other aspects of postgraduate training.

MedReview does not represent that any particular college, branch, department, or institution is good or bad. The platform is intended to provide different perspectives to help users conduct their own research and make informed decisions.

2. No Rank-Based Counselling or Choice-Filling Advice

MedReview does not provide personalized recommendations regarding which postgraduate branch or college an aspirant should choose based on their NEET-PG or INI-CET rank.

The platform does not guarantee admission, seat allotment, choice-filling outcomes, cutoff predictions, or future counselling results.

Information available on MedReview should not be interpreted as a recommendation to choose or reject a particular branch, college, or institution.

The final decision regarding a postgraduate career remains entirely with the individual aspirant.

3. User-Submitted Reviews

MedReview allows current postgraduate residents and alumni to voluntarily submit reviews and ratings about colleges and departments in which they have studied or are currently working.

By submitting a review, you confirm that:

• The review represents your genuine experience, observations, or personal opinion.
• You are not knowingly submitting fabricated or misleading information.
• You will not deliberately manipulate ratings or reviews.
• You will not submit content on behalf of another person without authorization.
• You will not knowingly publish information that is false or misleading.
• You will not use the platform to harass, threaten, abuse, intimidate, or target another person.
• You will not submit confidential or legally protected information belonging to another person.

You understand that your review may be read by other users and may influence how they perceive a college or department.

4. Responsibility for Reviews

The person submitting a review is solely responsible for the content of that review, including statements, allegations, opinions, ratings, photographs, documents, or other material submitted by them, subject to applicable law.

MedReview does not adopt, endorse, or necessarily agree with the opinions expressed in user-submitted reviews.

MedReview does not independently verify every factual statement contained in a review and does not guarantee that the experience described by one reviewer will be the same for another resident.

Users should therefore understand that reviews represent individual experiences and should not be treated as official statements of the college, department, institution, faculty, or MedReview.

5. Prohibited Content

Users must not submit content that:

• Is knowingly false, fabricated, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading.
• Is defamatory or intended to damage the reputation of an individual or institution.
• Contains abusive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or harassing language.
• Makes unverified allegations of criminal activity, corruption, fraud, professional misconduct, negligence, harassment, abuse, or other serious wrongdoing against an identifiable person.
• Contains personal attacks against doctors, faculty members, residents, students, administrators, or other individuals.
• Reveals confidential institutional information that the user is not authorized to disclose.
• Contains patient-identifying information or confidential medical information.
• Contains personal phone numbers, residential addresses, passwords, financial information, or other unnecessary private information of another person.
• Violates copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights of another person.
• Attempts to manipulate ratings or reviews.
• Is submitted repeatedly for the purpose of artificially influencing the reputation of a college or department.
• Contains promotional, commercial, spam, or irrelevant material.
• Contains content that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Reviews should primarily focus on the reviewer's own experience and should clearly distinguish personal experience or opinion from information obtained through rumours, hearsay, or third parties.

6. Reviews About Faculty and Individuals

MedReview recognizes that a resident's experience may involve interactions with faculty members, senior residents, administrators, or other individuals.

Users may describe their genuine experience of professional interactions where relevant to their residency. However, users must not use the platform to make defamatory personal attacks or publish unverified allegations against identifiable individuals.

Statements concerning serious misconduct, criminal activity, corruption, harassment, negligence, or other wrongdoing should not be presented as established facts unless the reviewer has a genuine factual basis and is legally entitled to make such statements.

Where possible, reviewers should describe what they personally experienced rather than making broad allegations about a person's character or intentions.

7. Ratings

Ratings submitted to MedReview represent the individual opinion of the person submitting the rating.

MedReview does not guarantee that a rating accurately represents the overall quality of a college, department, or postgraduate program.

Users must not create multiple accounts or submit multiple ratings for the purpose of artificially increasing or decreasing a rating.

MedReview may remove ratings that appear to be fraudulent, manipulated, abusive, duplicative, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms.

8. Review Moderation

MedReview reserves the right to review, moderate, edit, restrict, reject, or remove any review or other user-submitted content.

Content may be edited for spelling, grammar, formatting, readability, length, removal of personal information, or compliance with platform guidelines.

MedReview may refuse to publish content that it considers inappropriate, irrelevant, potentially defamatory, unverifiable, unlawful, abusive, misleading, or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.

Moderation or removal of a review does not necessarily mean that MedReview has determined whether the underlying statement is true or false.

9. Complaints Regarding Reviews

If an individual, college, institution, or other person believes that a review violates these Terms, contains unlawful content, infringes privacy or other rights, or raises another legitimate concern, they may contact MedReview through the contact details provided on the website.

MedReview may review the complaint and, where appropriate, request clarification from the reviewer, restrict the content temporarily, edit the content, or remove it.

MedReview reserves the right to take appropriate action based on the circumstances and applicable law.

10. No Guarantee of Information

Information available on MedReview may become outdated or may differ between residents and time periods.

College policies, faculty, infrastructure, patient load, stipend, workload, hostel facilities, academic schedules, and other conditions may change.

Users should independently verify important information through official college sources, counselling authorities, current residents, or other appropriate sources before relying upon it.

11. Use of the Platform by Aspirants

Aspirants may use MedReview to research colleges and branches and understand the experiences of other residents and alumni.

Users agree not to treat the platform as the sole basis for making an educational, professional, financial, or career decision.

MedReview does not guarantee that a particular branch or college will be suitable for any particular user.

12. Paid Services and 1-on-1 Sessions

Where MedReview offers paid 1-on-1 sessions with alumni or current residents, the service provides an opportunity for users to interact with the selected mentor and ask questions regarding their first-hand experience.

The mentor's views and responses represent their own opinions and experiences.

A paid session does not constitute a guarantee, professional career counselling service, rank-based recommendation, choice-filling recommendation, admission guarantee, or prediction of counselling outcomes.

MedReview does not guarantee that the information provided during a session will be complete, current, or suitable for the user's individual circumstances.

13. Booking and Payment

Users who purchase a paid service are responsible for providing accurate information required for booking and communication.

Payment must be completed through the payment methods made available by MedReview or its authorized payment service providers.

The applicable price, taxes, cancellation terms, refund policy, and other conditions may be displayed at the time of booking and may vary between services.

Users should review the applicable service-specific terms before completing payment.

14. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility for paid services will be governed by the refund or cancellation terms displayed for that particular service at the time of booking.

Where a session cannot be delivered because of circumstances attributable to MedReview or the assigned mentor, MedReview may, subject to the applicable service terms, offer rescheduling, replacement, or an appropriate refund.

Where a user fails to attend a scheduled session or provides incorrect contact or booking information, refund eligibility may be affected.

15. User Accounts

Where registration or an account is required, users must provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

Users must not share their account credentials with others or allow another person to use their account in a manner that violates these Terms.

MedReview reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or prohibited activity.

16. Intellectual Property

The MedReview name, logo, website design, interface, graphics, original written content, compilation and arrangement of reviews, and other original materials provided by MedReview are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where permitted by law or with appropriate authorization, users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, commercially exploit, republish, scrape, or create derivative works from MedReview's proprietary content or platform.

Individual user-submitted reviews remain subject to the rights of their respective contributors. By submitting a review, the contributor grants MedReview the necessary permission to publish, display, reproduce, format, edit, and use the submission for operating and promoting the platform, subject to applicable law and the MedReview Privacy Policy.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

MedReview may use or link to third-party services, including payment gateways, communication platforms, video-conferencing services, analytics tools, hosting services, or external websites.

MedReview does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, or privacy practices.

Use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

18. Prohibited Use of the Platform

Users must not use MedReview to:

• Commit or facilitate unlawful activity.
• Harass or threaten another person.
• Manipulate reviews or ratings.
• Create fraudulent accounts.
• Impersonate another person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or another user's account.
• Introduce malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically collect platform content without authorization.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
• Use automated systems to abuse platform features.
• Use MedReview content for misleading commercial purposes without permission.

19. Suspension or Termination

MedReview may suspend, restrict, or terminate a user's access to the platform where the user violates these Terms, misuses the platform, submits prohibited content, engages in fraudulent activity, or otherwise creates a risk to the platform or its users.

MedReview may also remove or restrict individual reviews without terminating the user's account where appropriate.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedReview and its operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and associated persons shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other loss arising from:

• Reliance on a user-submitted review or rating.
• Differences between a reviewer's experience and another user's experience.
• Decisions made by a user regarding a college, branch, counselling preference, career, or education.
• Inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information submitted by users.
• Interactions between users and mentors or reviewers.
• Temporary unavailability or interruption of the platform.
• Third-party services or payment providers.
• Unauthorized access or security incidents beyond reasonable control.
• Any content submitted, published, shared, or communicated by another user.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

21. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MedReview, its operators, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from the user's violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, misuse of the platform, or content submitted by the user, including claims arising from defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful content.

22. Privacy

The collection and use of personal information through MedReview are governed by the MedReview Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the applicable Privacy Policy.

23. Changes to These Terms

MedReview may modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, services, applicable law, or operational practices.

The updated Terms will be published on the website with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the platform after updated Terms are published may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

24. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the use of the MedReview platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction over MedReview's place of operation.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally possible.

The remaining provisions shall continue to remain in effect.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with the MedReview Privacy Policy, Review Disclaimer, Reviewer Consent and other policies expressly incorporated into the platform, constitute the terms governing your use of MedReview.
