"The HOD Dr. Manjunath Rao is one of the finest HODs anyone could pray for. Every PG gets hands on and learns the basic to advanced surgeries which even the SRs would struggle with. In the era, where professors have stopped giving hands on in surgical fields, doing ENT here is worth it, you will be confident than many peers of your level. Work life isnt hectic. Toxicity from staff isnt there, its just either you vibe with them or you dont. Toxicity like targeting or deliberate failing and making your life miserable. You have dept outings once in a month or two. So its peace !"

"The faculty is good. But obg pgs are very toxic. Good patient load. 1st yr usually do all types of NVDs and during the end of 1st yr start assisting in LSCS. From 2nd yr they do independent lscs. Only thing is pgs are a little toxic. Rest it is fine. Medicine at GDMC has limited exposure. As a 1st yr you'll learn to handle most of the things. No rotation in super speciality. MS Ortho is very hands on but workload is too much for pg 1st yr and toxicity is also high when you're in 1st yr from professors."

"Surgery Department – Krishna Hospital Think twice before joining. Academics are extremely weak, structured operative teaching is limited, and major procedures are often not properly taught to residents. Surgical exposure can remain largely restricted to minor procedures and suturing, leaving residents to figure out major operative skills on their own. The biggest issue is the fear-based academic environment created by the department’s senior-most authority. Residents are repeatedly warned that mistakes during residency can have consequences in their final examinations. Instead of encouraging learning from mistakes, this creates an atmosphere where residents are afraid to ask questions or take responsibility. 7 out of 21 residents reportedly failed in a recent batch—a figure prospective residents should independently verify. Limited academics + inadequate operative training + examination anxiety = a department prospective residents should investigate very carefully before joining."

"Very toxic, especially for females. If you are a female, do not take this clg. Throughout MBBS you will find seniors who will look at you with bad intentions and will make you uncomfortable at every step of the way. And if you don't dance to their whims and fancies they insult you and make sure that your survival in the clg gets difficult. Ppl coming to this clg for doing the course are not supportive as well - they bully, ostracise and bodyshame anyone who's not like them. Internship is a hell hole - especially obgy department for girls. The residents will act as if the girls have committed some crime just for existing and only boys are golden. Boys are given a LOT of preferential treatment. And the boys and the residents keep making demeaning comments about other girls' characters and other things like their figure, what they do, etc. There is this one jr3 in obgy - she doesn't deserve to be a doctor - she harasses and bullies female interns on duty so much that one intern legit even attempted suicide because of her. Please don't take this college if you value your mental health. Thank you."
